Eureka Valley and Dolores Heights are located in the central part of San Francisco and have close proximity to other notable parks and neighborhoods such as The Castro, Noe Valley, Upper Market, and Twin Peaks. Eureka Valley is the home of the gay rights movement in San Francisco, and the rainbow flag is proudly waved throughout this neighborhood to signify LGBTQ+ pride. Dolores Heights features many cul-de-sac streets and is one of the more affluent communities in this part of San Francisco.
